Emergency Room – 15 minutes
Exit
straight out of campground (right) – At end of road take a right - Third stop
sign turn right onto Rte 32 North -
As you are leaving the center of town there is a Wing Hospital Annex on the
right hand side - To continue to
Hospital follow Rte 32 N towards the Mass Turnpike entrance - Just before the
entrance take left on Lawrence St – at end of road take a left onto Shearer St –
Take right onto Fairview St – at end of road take right onto Wright St –
Hospital entrance is at top of road.
Town of Monson – Grocery Store/Drug Store/Post
Office/Churches
Exit straight our
of campground (right) – At end of road take a right – Third stop sign turn right
on to Rte 32 North – Follow Rte 32 N into town – Grocery store will be on the
left side after Mobil Gas station – Pharmacy in same parking lot – Post Office
next driveway on left. Catholic
Church on Green St – Church of Christ on High St – United Methodist and
Unitarian both on Main St – Baptist Church in the town of Palmer.
Koran’s Farm and Westview Farms Creamery – 2 minutes
Exit straight out
of campground (right) – At end of road turn right – At first stop sign turn
right onto East Hill Rd, continue straight on East Hill Rd – Koran’s is first
farm on left – Westview Creamery is second farm on left.
Crossroads Ball Field – 10 minutes
Take left out of
campground – at end of road take a right and quick left onto Sutcliffe Road –
follow Sutcliffe Rd to Rte 20 – take left onto Rte 20 West – Entrance on left
less than ½ mile.
Six Flags – 45 minutes
Exit
straight out of campground (right) – At end of road turn right – At third stop
sign turn left onto Rte 32 South – At first traffic signal (this will be a rural
intersection) turn right on Rte 319 – AT end of 319 bear right onto Rte 190 West
– Follow Rte 190 West to Rte 159 North – Rte 159 North will take you by the main
entrance to Six Flags.
Big E Fairgrounds – 30-45 minutes
Exit straight out
to campground (right) – At end of road turn right – Third stop sign turn right
onto Rte 32 North – Follow Rte 32 North to Mass Turnpike entrance (I-90) – Take
Mass Pike West to Exit 4 – After toll booth, bear right twice to Rte 5 South,
Riverdale St – Follow Rte 5 S through short tunnel – After tunnel, take next
exit – This exit ramp will flow onto a rotary – Take first right off rotary onto
Memorial Ave – Follow Memorial Ave to entrance of Big E Fairgrounds on the left.
Basketball Hall of Fame
Exit straight out
of campground (right) – At end of road turn right – Third stop sign take right
onto Rte 32 North – Follow Rte 32 N. to Mass Turnpike entrance (I-90) – Take
Mass Pike to Exit 6 – At light take left onto I-291 West – Follow I-291 W to
junction of I-91 South – Take I-91 S to Exit 6.
Walmart – Lowes – 30 minutes
Exit straight out
of campground (right) – At end of road turn right – Third stop sign take right
onto Rte 32 North – Follow Rte 32 N towards Mass Turnpike entrance (I-90) –
Continue on Rte 32 N into the town of Ware – Walmart/Lowes will be on the right
hand side – Walmart is also in Sturbridge – (directions to Rte 20 below).
Restaurants
Francesco’s –
Take a left out of campground – at end of road take right onto Monson Rd – Keep
going straight – Monson Rd will put you on Rte 20 East – Follow Rte 20 E into
the town of Brimfield – Restaurant will be on right.
China House –
Take left out of campground – At end of road take right and quick left onto
Sutcliffe Road – Follow Sutcliffe Rd to Rte 20 – Take left onto Rte 20 W –
Follow Rte 20 for approx 2.3 miles – restaurant on right in plaza.
There are several Pizza and Sandwich Shops along Route 32 North
If you
continue going East on Rte 20 into Sturbridge you will find additional
restaurants such as Applebee’s, Piccadilly Pub, Cracker Barrel and more.
Baldyga’s RV Sales/ Redwood RV Supply
Follow directions
into town of Monson – Continue on Rte 32 N until it turns into Rte 20 (do not
turn over bridge) –Baldyga’s is on right side – Continue straight on Rte 20 West
– Go through the town of Palmer – and into town of Wilbraham – Redwood RV Supply
will be on the right.
Brimfield Flea Market (May-July-Sept)/ Old
Sturbridge Village
Follow the above
directions to Francesco’s – this brings you into the town of Brimfield – Keep
going east on Rte 20 – Sturbridge is the next town – Old Sturbridge Village is
on the right.
Foxwood & Mohegan Sun Casinos – approx 90 minutes
Follow Rte 32
South to 395.
